Dear Redlands Unified School District Administration, I am writing to express my deep frustration, anger, and outrage at the gross negligence and inexcusable failure of this district and its administration to protect its students from sexual abuse. It is beyond comprehension that an institution responsible for the education and well-being of young people could allow such despicable and heinous crimes to occur under its watch. The Redlands Unified School District Administration's lack of action in preventing and addressing sexual abuse in its schools is a complete betrayal of trust and a catastrophic failure to meet its fundamental responsibilities. Students have been subjected to unspeakable violations, yet the administration has done nothing to address this pervasive issue. The administration's inaction has allowed abusers and predators to continue to harm students, inflicting lifelong trauma and irreparable damage. The administration must take immediate and aggressive action to protect its students. It must implement comprehensive policies and procedures to prevent and respond to abuse, provide adequate support and resources to victims, and ensure that all staff and faculty are trained to recognize and respond to signs of abuse. The Redlands Unified School District must also be held accountable for its past failures to protect students from sexual abuse. The students who have been victimized deserve justice, and the administration must take responsibility for the harm it has caused. There can be no more excuses, no more delays, and no more platitudes. The time for action is now. Failing to protect students from sexual abuse is a gross violation of their human rights and must not be tolerated. The Redlands Unified School District Administration must take swift and decisive action to prevent further abuse and to ensure that all students are safe and protected from harm. In solidarity, N (A survivor, not a victim)
