However, I do not believe the case was discussed in any detail with the exception of one remark about Prince Andrew. I am confident that the prosecution team was not aware of this press conference, and was equally as upset as we were. I mentioned the press conference to the SAC and the ADIC today and they were not pleased. Please let me know if the victims express concerns about not being notified, but don't go seeking their input on this press conference. It was a planned press conference, co-sponsored/hosted by Safe Horizons, held in front of Epstein's house. I would like to let the victims know that any issues or concerns that they have about not being notified should be directed to the USAO. If they ask, to whom specifically should they voice their concerns? Apparently, SDNY/FBI had no idea this was going to happen. The USAO was out and media asked him a question about Prince Andrew and he made a statement. Add me to the list of VSs who are getting irate communications from our victims about not getting a heads up about this morning's press briefing in front of Epstein's brownstone. I suspect that the USAO failed to let us know.... Whatever happened, can you let me know where the breakdown occurred and how the /we will be addressing it so that it doesn't happen again? I want to be able to discuss it with my victim who is often the mouthpiece for many of the core victims. And I can tell you that they are discussing it and feeling angry and betrayed at the moment. Pretty understandable. So anyway, looking for a bit of information to take back and make amends with. Any help you can offer is most appreciated!!!
