I f=el closely connected to this magnificent European capital . Be=ng fluent in french and having french genes parading through my body leave= me no choice but to consider myself part of France.. When on my most recent visit to Paris, After =orging myself on baguetes I made my way to a few of the more e=egant fashion shows. First Chanel's spring and summer =eady-to-wear show and in and then the Valentino haute couture show.=C24> I was privleged to attend the Parisian Debutantes Ball (repres=nting Chanel), where I met some of the most remarkable people =rom cities across the world. When I spend time in Paris I am =C2Qable to feel its vitality not only see it . The city sing= to me and I never tire of its artistic and historical richness . I =ave also had the pleaseure of living in Rome, which is where = initially developed my passion for art and culture. Im afraid i spent muc= of my free time indoors, visiting the vast panolply of museums. th= opera and discovering Italy's wealth of cultural offerings very s=on, realizing that I wanted to pursue my passion for art history at AUP.</=> Attending The American University =f Paris would also represent the natural evolution of my education, both r=ceived at home and in school: my father is but my mother is and thanks to her I attended the French Lycee in Rome, earning a Fren=h Baccalaureat with a major in Economic and Social Sciences. I am flu=nt in Italian and French, but also in English because I studied it in scho=l and mastered it during my frequent trips to the United States, where I have been exposed and appreciate the American cult=re because of my internships with Bulgari's US office, in Los Ange=es and the Ferragamo US PR department in New York City. My family origin a=d the education I received seem to lead me to an American University in Pa=is where I will be able to put my skills into practice and pursue my acade=ic objectives and goals. Studyin= art history at the American University of Paris would be a great opportun=ty to further discover the French culture.
