Each generation went through some unique experiences which define them and left a lasting mark on them. The current generation in power are the ones born in the 50s, who experienced culture revolution in their teenage. They experience the social up havoc and saw what their parents went through. The assistant you may look at are possibly born in the 80s. They grew up in the period after market reform and opening of China, which started in 1978. As a result, they probably have limited understanding / commonality with the generation in power now. So, be mindful of this when you choose.
