Chris my regular part time guy was hesitant to commit, since he has four kids and his brother just had cancer surgery,. When I called my other candidate, Tim Powell normally requests $1,200 per day, he was not available, he is retired Delta. Chris knows our AUX fuel and aircraft very well,. I offered him $1000 per day, after he turned me down $750 per day,. In the past we paid him $500 per day for his services, which has been a good deal for us. Due to my FAR125 certificate. I can't just take anyone off the street, they have to be trained in accordance with my manual, and be named in my General Operations Manual.
