We think it's time to bridge (and tunnel) the gap. ;) Effective today, we're lowering flat rates to from Manhattan to Newark Liberty International Airport, lowering the New Jersey surcharge, and introducing new rates for uberX trips beginning in New Jersey. NEW PRICING Lower flat rates between Manhattan and Newark Airport EFTA_R1_00416270 EFTA01950291 New Jersey surcharge We've lowered the New Jersey surcharge to $20. This surcharge will be added to all trips that cross between New Jersey and New York (except trips between Manhattan and EWR) to cover tolls and the driver's return trip. Please note that New Jersey Turnpike tolls will be additional and are not included in the surcharge. New Jersey uberX rates WHAT IS uberX? In New Jersey, uberX includes ridesharing, offering the Uber reliability you're used to with prices cheaper than a New Jersey taxi.
