Eric explained that he is pulling the equipment off of another job to accommodate us, and losing the 2 weekend days (approximately $2,080) by allowing the equipment to stay on LSJE so our project is not slowed down by having to bring the equipment back and forth. He says he cannot go any lower. I have previously researched other companies for equipment rentals - availability, costs, quality of work, willing to work "off-island", etc. The other companies were competitive in price, until I explained to them the location of the job, and the mobilization costs made them higher than Grade- All.
