Script for JEE for reporters: • My time in jail was sobering and led me to reflect on my life. • I came out of jail resolved to do things that will leave the world a better place. • Given my expertise, it only makes sense that I use my knowledge constructively — and that's just what I've decided to do with the Gates Foundation. • I realize that I cannot erase the past, but hope that at the end of the day my previous behavior will be considered in the context of my current and future actions. • I am very grateful to the Gates Foundation for giving me this opportunity to make a difference.
