I took the written exam almost 2=years ago which means I have to take the ATP check ride by the end of this=month. The best way to do it is to get a recurrent or new type rating and =he ATP sign-off is just part of it. The least expensive option I found is =2k for an old Citation type or Larry tells me 14.3k for a GIV recurrent, w=ich is more useful. I can't pay that now but if I miss the deadline, I'll =ave to spend an extra 5k just to take the written again because the rules =ave since changed and they now require additional training.
