Everything at night glows (for safety reaso=s), which means 66,000 persons in LED, glow sticks, head lamps, flashing je=elry, hats, etc. Bikes, aside from art cars, were the only other good way o= getting around (the playa is huge)- all have lights and are decorated wild=y. The visual stimulation at night is overwhelming, and all of this elabora=e lighting is incorporated into each art installation. The evenings were su=h an adventure and Kimbal took me out and showed me around every night. I c=n't even begin to describe how beautiful it was after sunset.
