Mach .80 Dakar to St. Thomas with -40kt headwind 6+38mins. In Gulfstream I would return flying long range cruise Mach.78 or less. in Boeing would be Mach .80 (flight time 6+28min) this would be no problem for Boeing to complete this non stop in either direction, I have the Cape Verde Islands as a safety landing spot if needed, plus St. Maarten Island for return. The Gulfsteam should do this non-stop St. Thomas to Dakar, and for return flight Dakar to St. Thomas headwind is no greater than -30kts.. other wise I would stop in Cape Verde island to refuel or St. Maarten.. weather in STT would have to be perfect for non stop flight on return from Dakar to St. Thomas.
