I just met an astronaut at the Kennedy space center and asked how they practice
landings.. Did you know Nasa uses a GII with 1/2 cockpit converted to look like
the shuttle to simulate shuttle descents by actually putting the engines in
reverse thrust and letting it fall down from 6miles up ? I had no idea Gii had
the closest flight characteristics to a space shuttle. I thought you might find
it amuzing
