The short version is that =uckus/ubiquity/Cisco access points all require Ethernet network =onnections for power & data. (not correct as Power Over Ethernet (POE) is best but not =equired) The current Ethernet wiring isn't in =ptimal places to make any of those solutions any kind of =mprovement. (I would have to =now the wiring layout to assess whether this is true or not) I =now the wiring there is limited but even on a bad day Ruckus will =utperform Apple devices. We would have to rewire the entire =ouse to get better wireless. That rewire will be expensive and =isruptive. (new wiring is =lways best) We're going to =nd up doing that eventually tho, the existing wiring looks like it =ould be 20+ years old. It won't reliably support over 100 Mbps =etwork connections — so that 200 Mbps upgrade Bella just =ecured isn't going to feel much faster.
