Luckily I managed to fly south to Florida on Saturday morning and=have been enjoying the sunshine state for the last few days. I have had quite a few con=ersations with various yacht crew agencies I know about the position at Li=tle St James. One query that has come up is the question of a US work visa=for a foreign national. Is this an issue we need t= be concerned about or could you handle this if the right person/s turned =p? I am currently staying at =he Windsor Club in Vero Beach (see www.windsorflorida.com )and have noted =hat most of the staff here are from South Africa. I enquired and they tell=me that an employment agency takes care of everything, visas included. I will try and find out a =ittle more today. South Africans have a great work ethic and are also frie=dly and respectful. Nothing worse than either staff who grovel or are over=familiar!! Are you still OK for me an= Lars to come by the Island on the 25th February for a few days, as I need=to sort out travel arrangements? Though no worries if it no longer works f=r you.
