With the open weaves, the tighter they are, the be=ter protection you have against sun glare, heat, and wind, and the h=rder they are to see through. Dark colors are more effective again=t both heat and glare, and are easier to see through than light ones.&nb=p; We make the Zipper Track shade custom to the neares= 1/8" and have a few different systems depending on the size of your sha=e. If yours are all 10 x 10 or so, they would be in 5 hou=ing boxes at the top, with side rails 15/8" wide. You have a =hoice of 6 colors of housing/tracks. The motors are plug in Somfy radio controlled motor= and the motors are inside the shade rollers, your choice of motor side.=You can have hand held or wall mounted remotes as well as timers. The shades need to mount on a nice flat surface and=you should allow 34" extra space if you need to fit them between immove=ble objects. For instance, measure between your sconces and give=us that width—we would order the shade 'A" narrower to make sure it f=ts.
