Sotheby’s catalogue illustrates a cartonnier (illustrated below) which they described as "later" that came with the desk. Does Mr. Epstein have the cartonnier? It's obviously hard to =ay from this black and white photo, but stylistically, the cartonnier could be from the 1760's.
