From: Larry Visoski < Sent: Thursday, November 13, 2014 12:14 AM To: Je vacation Subject: Hell Jeffrey, During engine start up on LSJ tonight my #1 AutoPilot failed., our Bell 430 i= equipped with two digital autopilots, I selected #2 autopilot and all was f=ne, the passengers didn't notice anything was wrong, it was a good flight. The autopilot is engaged before departure for SCAS system. (Stability Contro= Augmentation System). The 430 can fly safely without AP working as well. l=practice this when your not in the helicopter. I swapped Autopilot computers and the failure followed, so it's a simple AP B=x change. I will bring the AP computer box when I return to Fla and locate e=change unit, 30min install only. Is it Ok to airline home tomorrow ?
