Darren mentioned Dave might have issues multi-Tasking, was his first observa=ion, maybe issues hearing the Radio call sign as well. Dave is more mechanical of a Pilot, allowing the plane's automation=to do the work, Dave engages the autopilot as soon as possible after takeof=, and does not dis-Engage the autopilot until 200' before landing, w=ich is permissible. Darren like myself try to be as smooth as possible, trying to minimize G-For=e for Passenger comfort, such as steep turns, and level off and decent prof=le., Also, Darren mentions, he dis-engages the Auto throttles several times durin= a flight, since the automation of auto Throttles lags, during certain scen=rios the aircraft will surge fwd while maintaining a predetermined airspe=d, ( Rapid fwd throttle movement).
