Even though the Crate & Barrel is polyester, we are confident that we can treat it to pass the composite burn test for the divan end arms and door faces. I suggest not treating the carry on bed mattress as it will adversely affect the hand /softness. The real question is the fire blocked divan cushions. If we heavily treat the fabric, it will likely pass the fire block test, but heavy treatment will also affect the feel. Since you do not use these cushions that often, if you want to ever use the divan for "sitting", then you may want to reupholster the divan cushions in the same crate and barrel fabric with the heavy treatment.
