The office has =o connectivity at all. The power is still out and WAPA has not publi=hed a time for Red Hook as yet. They are focusing on Downtown and th= areas around and including the hospital and two schools which are being u=ed as shelters.. The office smells as we have no AC - the AYH generator doesn't allow fo= our AC to work. We all met at the office on Monday and will be ther= today to air it out and begin trying to work just in the reception area s=nce we can open the front doors for air. There is still no cell service on the east end. Most of the towers ca=e down. There is cell service from mid-island (Cost- U-Less and Haven=ight areas) going west. There are still long lines for gas and about an hour wait to get into and f=od store. Everything is still cash and carry. The banks opened=for limited service yesterday. I have not been able to communicate with Anna for the last two days. =eanne told me that Anna was going to L.S1 and GSJ on Monday. I did a =hort debrief with Carlos on Monday and he indicated that there was extensi=e damage on LSJ. The backhoe had been moved to STT prior to Irmas=s arrival. I also spoke to Smiley who said that he lost his home. We apparently have a tropical storm headed our way this weekend so more rai= for a day or two. Tropical Shipping will begin coming in this weekend, weather permitting. =AO The airport will reopen on Saturday, again, weather permitting. We are still on 6PM -12PM curfew. The roads are more passable but eve=yone heads out at the same time so it takes me a little over and hour to g=t to Red Hook and I live right above Downtown.
