I think you'd benefit from the locals knowing that you have security staff. Have PRD painted as security boat. Put "Saint James Islands SECURITY" in lar=e letters on the hull, and maybe a few hull stripes that resembles a police=or patrol boat. Put a police light bar in top. Green color is legal on civilian boats and a s=rong searchlight. While I don't think you'd want to pay for full time security officers, a dai=y or twice daily trip around GSJ with a slow cruise through Christmas Cove w=ll quickly spread the word that the island is being monitored by security. A=d occasional night round with searchlight would reinforce that as well. PRD can still be used as prior, but now serves as a deterrent for crashing t=e island.
