I was speaking with friends in LA about the possibilities of working there,=and they immediately, told me about American Apparel looking for a New Cre=tive Director. You know that I love American Apparel, and would love the chance to work wi=h them. It a brand that has such a Strong Product Identity, [ especially in it'= begging days ]. I still have 10 pair left of there corduroy jeans that I bought in Sydney, =t was an old stock, the last of there original cut, I think came home with=20 pair plus T-shirts, cut-off's corduroy jeans, all the original Cool Stu=f. I remember being in Paris, you called saying to come and meet a very good f=iend of your's Jeffery Epstein, we met at his place and he had spoken to m=,-us about American Apparel. He had a strong incite on the movements of the company, and ask if I would =hink of doing American Apparel. I had just started working with Lapo,on his Italia-Independent line, so was=totally hook in with that, and at the same time was beginning to look into=the setting up of my own project . I know it's a long shot, but maybe Jeffery would know the right person for =e to contact, for The Creative Director position at American Apparel.
