The arti=le simply mirrors a press release that was issued b= the developers and unfortunately omits an essentia= point: the parcel of land upon which the proposed development =s located is zoned CPS-2, which provides for a maximum of 7 strries vertically. A project of this size and magnitude doe= not meet our planning and zoning regulations. I have not seen a model o= the proposed project, but I have heard of it. I believe it is impor=ant to clarify this because one of the cornerstones of my campaign was to =ake Miami Beach a better place to live and to promote responsible developm=nt with the highest possible level of public benefit.
