A summary of the key meetings/contacts is below: • On July 29th, the team met with Epstein's attorneys, who, in very general terms, discussed the possibility of a resolution and/or the possibility of cooperation. Defense counsel did not make a specific proposal, and they did not indicate in any detail what Epstein's cooperation might consist of, if anything. The team informed defense counsel they were free to re-engage if and when Epstein was prepared to accept responsibility for his conduct. • On July 31st, the team met with counsel for , who was one of Epstein's personal assistants during the period of the charged conduct. lawyers provided an initial attorney proffer, which largely focused on background, as well as her relationship with Epstein which they described as sexually abusive. The attorneys also provided a brief overview of what might say about her role in scheduling massages for Epstein, which was not promising, but the team plans to talk again with counsel for on Monday, August 5 with a focus on exploring potential cooperation. • On July 31st, the team met with "S, who was sexually assaulted by Epstein in Florida, New Mexico, and the Virgin Islands in approximately 2004, and when she was 16 and 17 years old. During this time period, Ms. who was on the verge of homelessness and had nowhere else to go, lived and travelled with Epstein. Ms. reported that Epstein raped her on more than one occasion. Ms.= recalled that her travel to Epstein's properties was scheduled by one of Epstein's assistants in New York (whom we believe to be NW MM. We have also identified partially nude photographs of Ms. =taken when she was approximately 17 from the materials seized from Epstein's New York residence. • On August 1st, the team met with another New York victim, Ms. was introduced to Epstein in or about 2004, when she was 16 and working as a model in New York. On multiple occasions, she went to Epstein's Manhattan residence to engage in sexualized massages after which she was paid in cash. During these sessions, Epstein sexually abused her. The abuse escalated over time, and during her last encounter with Epstein, he raped her. Epstein knew her true age, because she told him during their first meeting that she was 16. • On August f el, the team spoke by phone with attorneys in California who contacted our Office and represent two victims, , and Both Ms. and Ms. =were recruited to perform "massages" for Epstein in New York in or about 2004, during which they were sexually assaulted, and after which they were paid.
