He can then provide whatever files/reports he receives to a neutral AUSA with no involvement in either case for an initial review before sending on to the Epstein and Tartaglione teams to make sure there are no statements that arguably touch on otherwise privileged information. Two other officers EFTA00076619 who responded to the cell apparently wrote supplemental reports saying that Epstein had something around his neck when they saw him. didn't have the reports in front of him when we spoke, so he couldn't be more specific. I've asked him to provide us with the reports as soon as possible. Additionally, AW advised that EPSTEIN's cell mate reported threated to kill him. No further information was provided. The above incident is currently under investigation with the BOP.
