DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE I OFFICE OF TIIE INSPECTOR GENERAL MEMORANDUM OF INVESTIGATION Case Number: 2019-010614 Reporting Office: Boston Area Office Interview of On June 16, 2021, Senior Special Agent and Special Agent Daniel, U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General (OIG), conducted a voluntary telephonic interview of former Lieutenant =, Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP), Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) New York, New York. The interview was conducted in reference to an official OIG investigation surrounding the death of BOP inmate Jeffrey Epstein, Register Number 76318-054, who was previously housed at the MCC New York. was an Operations Lieutenant at the MCC New York when Epstein was housed within the MCC New York. At the time of the interview, stated that he was employed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection and resided in Homestead, Florida.
