When I went to Quantico we found that the system had lost two drives. One drive had failed a couple weeks before the second drive (I don't remember the exact date). The second drive failed on August 8th, which caused the raid array to fail. The recorders are designed to allow one drive to fail, after two drives fail you lose recording.
