These individuals may attempt to visit inmates at multiple federal prisons. This information was obtained from outside law enforcement sources who identified at least two visitation attempts scheduled for August 15, 2019, at FCC Terre Haute, Indiana and FCI Sheridan, Oregon. Fraudulent correspondence to BOP inmates may arrive from the "Las Vegas Defense Group". Although the Las Vegas Defense Group is a legitimate legal organization, recovered letters with their letterhead were found not to have actually emanated from them. It is recommended any mail or documentation discovered from the "Las Vegas Defense Group" be reported to their respective SIS Departments. Institutional SIS Departments should thoroughly the Las Vegas Defense Group and verify any correspondence.
