As we discussed, SDNY has an open investigation into Jeffrey Epstein. We are working on this investigation in partnership with FBI New York. The case agents— and are copied here, along with my colleague, AUS We would like to request that FBI Florida ship the case files to SDNY—specifically, to the U.S. Attorney's Office—so that we may have a vendor copy the files and associated media. We would return the files to Florida as soon as the vendor completes the copying process. EFTA00147361 We are requesting the files so that we can be sure to have a complete copy of all case records. This is necessary as part of our investigation, but in addition we will need to make sure we have a copy of all FBI materials so that we can be confident we can comply with our discovery applications, should this investigation result in criminal charges.
