Florena Rueda

Florena Rueda 12/13/21 1500 hours RUEDA states the defense reached out to her. She felt like it was something she needed to do and that all she was to do was to tell the truth. She worked for MAXWELL for 10 years. She was a housekeeper there with her husband. They started February of 2002. They lived with her. Husband was driver RUEDA was housekeeper. It was a live in position. She was the house manager at the townhouse. MAXWELL was employed by A states she was in no position of know this. RUEDA worked MAXWELLs home a NY. RUEDA states her experience working there, they were rich people, at first she was scared but MAXWELL was nice and friendly to her. RUEDA was not mistreated. When MAXWELL was in the residence they always knew about her whereabouts. They were surprised when all this news came out. They have 3 kids. They had to quit their job at some point. RUEDA and her family lived in the basement of the townhouse. They became like family. RUEDA had made mistakes. One instance MAXWELL's bag didn't make it to the car, and MAXWELL wasn't upset about it. She was how nervous RUEDA was. MAXWELL was nice to them. There was an office space in MAXWELL's house. MAXWELL had a personal assistance. They worked on the street level. There was a door to an open office after the receiving area in the house. Inside this office there were files. There was a big printer where they would print pictures because MAXWELL likes to take pictures. When she would come back from a trip she would bring a scan disc and she would have one of her 2 assistants print the pictures and put it in an album. RUEDA would hang out with the personal assistant to see if they needed help. RUEDA's son lived at that house around when he was 7 years old, he was born in 1998. MAXWELL was nice to her kids. RUEDA's son would stay downstairs with the family. He would have afterschool activities. MAXWELL was happy with us, we are honest people. At some point RUEDA's other 2 sons lived in the basement with her and her husband. RUEDA would get direct deposit for her salary. When they originally interviewed there was a house manager working for the house. They gave RUEDA and the husband her salary. She never bothered to look what the name on the check was or if it was coming from EPSTEIN or MAXWELL. She would have to look back to see. RUEDA was told by the defense that she might be called, they sent her a subpoena. She agreed to speak at the trial. When it gets close to her time to testify they would let her know what time she needs to be in New York to discuss her role in the trial. RUEDA would have to talk about how MAXWELL is as a good person and an employer. She does not have travel arrangements yet but she should know more after today. RUEDA states MAXWELL manages EPSTEINS other houses. RUEDA went to the Florida house. RUEDA didn't go to New Mexico. RUEDA has never been to the island. RUEDA has been to the 71st street home during party's. When EPSTEIN's main house keeper was sick RUEDA would go there as well to help. RUEDA would put his guests in the receiving area.
