U.S. Department of Justice United States Attorney Southern District of Florida March 31, 2010 DELIVERY BY ELECTRONIC MAIL Re: Jeffrey Epstein Dear We are in receipt of your letter of March 29, 2010. We have had a series of correspondence, telephone calls, and meetings regarding the issue of Mr. Epstein's obligation to his victims. We have repeatedly stated that Mr. Epstein is expected to abide by the letter and spirit of the Non-Prosecution Agreement. And we have repeatedly informed you that the U.S. Attorney's Office does not intend to provide advisory opinions to Mr. Epstein or his attorneys regarding the handling of the civil suits filed against him. Yet again, you have asked us to provide such an advisory opinion. The request relates to Mr. Epstein's Motion to Dismiss in toto the suit filed against him by Jane Doe 103, whom we understand is one of the victims identified through the 2006 through 2007 investigation that culminated in the signing of the Non-Prosecution
