VERIFIED PETITION FOR DIVORCE
COMES NOW, Petitioner KARYNA SHULIAK, by and through her undersigned
counsel KELLERHALS FERGUSON KnontrN PLLC, and states and alleges as follows in support of
this Petition for Divorce against Respondent Jennifer Kahn:
1. Petitioner Karyna Shuliak is an inhabitant and resident of St.Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands,
who was domiciled therein at the time of commencement of this action and who has
resided therein continuously and uninterruptedly for at least six (6) weeks prior to the
commencement of this action in accordance with 16 V.I.C. § 106.
2. Respondent
last known physical address is 301 East 66th Street

3. This Court has jurisdiction pursuant to 4 V.I.C. § 76(a) and 16 V.I.C. § 101, et seq.
4. Petitioner and Respondent were legally married on October 9, 2013, in New York, New
York [EXHIBIT BI
5. There has been an irreconcilable breakdown of the marriage relationship to the extent that
the legitimate objects of matrimony have been destroyed between Petitioner and
Respondent and there is no reasonable likelihood of reconciliation.

6. Petitioner and Respondent do not jointly own any real or personal property.
7. There were no children born of this marriage.
8. Petitioner waives any right to alimony and further states that the Respondent is not in
need of nor entitled to the same.
WHEREFORE, Petitioner respectfully requests:
a. That the Court enter a decree of divorce dissolving the marriage between the parties;
c. That the Court declare that neither party is entitled to an award of alimony; and
d. That the Court enter such other and further relief to Petitioner as is deemed appropriate
and just
