Subject: Coowone China Furniture - August 30, 2018
Date: Thu, 30 Aug 2018 17:03:36 +0000
Greetings
and
You were just copied on the email that I send to Debra Braziel of Tropical Shipping that instructs Tropical when
to sail our cargo, and if we wish to insure the cargo for the sail.
I requested insurance for this cargo which includes the Artefacto dining chairs, TOTO toilets, IKEA decorative
accessories and the Coowone outdoor furniture.
I received a phone call and photos showing the how poorly packed the China furniture arrived.
In the event that damage is discovered in this furniture, we will have no recourse with Lund & Pullara or
Tropical Shipping.
Coowone knew the furniture purchased for export. They knew it was getting shipped to another country via a
ship and then to another location via another ship.
I hope that the packaging took the brunt of the damage and the furniture is unscathed, but I also feel it is
necessary to be prepared in any event.
I will forward the photos shortly.
Kind regards, Daphne
