Homes are not Wimberly's forte' but Jerry Allison (the "A" in WATG) is doing a home for Quincy Jones in Bel Air California. My contact reports that it has been a struggle and that Wimberly's fees amount to almost 18% of construction cost on a budget of $20M! Jerry is in Wimberly's Newport Beach office - Bibby can give Lana the t. If I may, some other suggestions: If I had the money to create a great Caribbean home I would consider the following firms: Hugh Newell Jacobsen - classic modernist, but with incredible attention to detailing and livability. I'm sure he's expensive, but you'll get a home of the calibre of Cindy's in Rancho Bernardo. He's done some striking work in the Caribbean. Bob Glazier - senior partner at Hill Glazier, he has done a number of fine resorets for us Tamaya, Lake Las Vegas, Coconut Point, as well as for others - Shutters Santa Monica, and most recently the Ocean Club in Nassau for Sol Kerstner. He has a great sense of scale and livability - and is a great guy to work with. He would take on such a project personally.They're in Palo Alto. 3 Architects - Do a lot of residential work and some small hotels including the Peninsula Beverly Hills and the L'Hermitage Beverly Hills.They're based in Dallas and also great to work with.
