As you said you wanted to save money by not paying me my high fees. . the result was predictable. now you have a choice a simple choice. very simple . you either hire my team , they come in for two weeks -they will review procedures and practices. . set up ,an up- to- date accounting system, computerized timelines for filings etc. . household classifactions and reporting that makes sense. The price for my work has not changed from day one. 40m per year, I m willing to discount to 30 m as I did give you a bad number and should pay an embarassment fine. Im also aware that you have paid what you consider a great deal of money, though, as you know , in my mind. you have far and away recieved way more than our agreement called for. please remember that you and i agreed no more demands on my time after the last payment. no more - so called after care etc. I stepped in as you had a mess on your plate and have worked many many hours because of our unique friendship. by the way , please be assured I make no judgement on any of your activities , whether or not i agree with it. not my role. my role is, protection first. no matter what you do. 2. you can decide that brad , tom can oversee your audits . they are sensitive to the issue at hand. alan can be brought in but i would be extra careful having paul weiss given access to entire story. please note The information contained in this communication is confidential, may be attorney-client privileged, may constitute inside information, and is intended only for the use of the addressee.
