Amy,
The proposed actions below could be done relatively quickly and bring his islands back into compliance.
Remove the fill starting from 4 feet landward of the mangrove fringe working watenvard -restore area with
mangroves- all applicable wetlands
Submit an after the fact application to retain the road through the wetland and propose mitigation.-A culverted
road would be a good idea
Submit evidence the retained dock now complies with originally permitted configuration
Stock pile riprap boulders in an upland location.
Submit a new application to PR office for new dock proposal to include removal of unauthorized dock.
Remove the last barge landing.
Most of this will be documented as voluntary restoration. I will get started on the after the fact road permit as
soon as an application is submitted. I trust that everyone is going to do the right thing, but I need a report with
photos to record Mr. Epstein's efforts for future reference.
