I have not heard of a contract that says if I do not respond in due time to a "change order" the designer legally is owed the full amount she billed...and without back up. Is this legal???? This is crazy. Sending bills of any amount that one must pay on her time table. It's like blackmail. PLEASE HELP GET THIS MONSTER OUT OF MY LIFE.... This gets worse every day. This woman is a nightmare. I know any emotion is useless. I am staying at a friend's apartment for months and I am a bit mortified even though I am welcome here. I have never been treated so terribly and taken advantage of in a business situation in my life. This is like I opened my door, a stranger walked in and legally demanded any amount of money she wanted. I work so very hard for every dollar I earn and this sneaky Asian bitch saw an easy victim. To make matters worse, she has absolutely no talent and made me spend hours in useless meetings and endless trips to the DID Building. I gave her hundreds of photographs to give her images of exactly what I wanted and she was not capable of just copying anything. I should bill her for the months she waisted my valuable time. If I had been mugged on the street at gun point and robbed of all my diamonds...I would have been able to clearly comprehend the situation and loss. Again, I apologize for wasting your time.
