COOL SCIENCE the work i had been doing with the proximal port of VP shunt is pretty neat. me and my buddies are going to apply for a small institutional grant at the UW to support further development BUT it made me realize that the answer to some of the vagus nerve stuff might be found in patients with vagal nerve stimulators - or even animals into whom we can insert vagal nerve stimulators. if we can reverse atrial fibrillation using electricity into the vagus nerve then we fix the problem and prove the theory all at once. so we are working towards how to do that. i had wanted to talk to you about some of the technical stuff but i keep having really bad timing! hopefully very soon. 4.
