Jeffrey,
Dennis Anderson just called me to share the following information.
Seller is firm on $6.2M and may take lower if prebuy inspection is not Gulfstream Survey as outlined in their
contract. According to Dennis the "Gulfstream SURVEY" is the full blown Gulfstream prebuy. This is the reason for not
lowing the price below 6.2M, the seller is assuming a long costly inspection at Gulfstream in Palm beach,. their
advantage to using Gulfstream in Palm bch would be their recourse of action if something is found during prebuy that
Gulfstream missed during the 72 Month inspection, the seller will claim warranty against General Dynamics in PSI.
Dennis has given me permission to obtain a copy of the 72 month inspection and compare items that may not be
addressed in "Gulfstream Survey" (formerly Factory GuIrstream Prebuy).
Damage info:
-in reference to "Damage History" missing in the contract, Dennis states Damage History was removed due to a previous
sale regarding another aircraft, a buyer interpreted Damage History as a repair to a baggage compartment fuselage
area as "DAMAGE to the Aircraft and walked from the deal. Dennis assures there is knowledge of record of DAMAGE
history to this aircraft and encourages me to contact Gulfstream directly to verify there has been no damage repairs done
in association with flight induced damage or hard landing etc.
Dennis did inform me, during the 72 month inspection, Gulfstream damaged the Rudder during installation and had
to replace the Rudder with a newer one, Dennis indicates in his opinion, its a repair, not damage.
In closing, Dennis mention a possible lower price if Full Gulfstream SURVEY prebuy was not on the table.
Please advise if you approve me to contact Gulfstream to review the 72 month inspection and request damage report
also.?
thank you,
Larry
