sigh.. this is what I am dealing with. although I take this as good news, since the allegation is so manifestly false
and silly.

Dear Erin:
Thank you for sending this photo, which is quite important, for a variety of reasons, so I particularly appreciate
the opportunity to respond.
As is quite clear from the photograph, this is not a case of photobombing, which involves intruding on someone
else's selfie or photograph without their knowledge or permission. Rather, it appears that these women were
both aware and happy to have a me take a picture with them, presumably at their request, as shown by the fact
that the woman in the center has her arm around me in a friendly way.
Second, if I remember our interview correctly, I believe Ms. Thompson stated that this photo was
taken after she claims she witnessed me touch someone's breast inappropriately. If that is the case, then this
photo is further evidence that Ms. Thomson's account of the alleged groping incident is not credible, since both
seem quite happy to be posing for a picture with me, without any sign of being upset. Quite the contrary.
More important, it also demonstrates once again that Ms. Thomson distorts and misrepresents her and my
experiences at that meeting. This is as much an example of photobombing as the earlier photograph was an
example of groping. It is hard to imagine why this picture would be used to support any allegation by Ms.
Thomson against me.
In any case, this provides, in my mind, explicit evidence that her post hoc description of events at the time is
distorted, and/or fabricated. Finally, I repeat that `girl on girl' action is not something I would generally say,
and I have no memory of saying that.
Thanks again for sending this.

Hello Dr. Krauss:
As you may recall, during your interview with OEI on April 24, 2018, we discussed an allegation brought forward by
Mel Thomson, who claimed that during the 2016 Australian Skeptics National Convention, you photobombed a picture
with her and another female (who Mel had just kissed on the cheek) and allegedly made the comment, "girl-on-girl
action". You did not recall the incident, but indicated that you could have photobombed a picture. You also explained
that "girl-on-girl action" is not the kind of thing you would say. OEI recently received the picture in question and I
want to give you the opportunity to review it and respond to the allegation again. Please see below and let me know if
you have any further information or thoughts. Thank you.
