Subject: Work Experience Update 2017
Dear Fifth Form Parents and Guardians
Now that GCSE summative assessments have been completed, the majority of Fifth Form students will be
embarking on their work experience placement. For many of your sons and daughters this will be their first
experience of the world of work.
This year we have seen record numbers of Fifth Form students arrange work experience.
We wish your sons and daughters the best of success during their work experience and look forward to
reading their work experience diary when they return to school in September. Please find attached a copy of
the work experience diary.
In the diary there is also some information for parents, employers and students. This also includes contact
details on the back cover for the careers team during and out of term time. If parents or students have
concerns regarding work experience, please contact the School and we will be able to offer support and
guidance.
Have a wonderful summer break.
