Typically, turnout in these elections is very low. So I write to encourage you get out and make your voice heard by voting in this election for Betsy Perez. EFTA01131246 This is important for Miami Beach's future. For the past two years, we have fought to change the old do- nothing, empty promises, and corrupt culture at City Hall. Successful government reform is difficult, creates resentment and animosity, and brings out past disgruntled foes. We all complain about the federal government's do-nothing gridlock in Washington M., but our local Miami Beach government has made meaningful strides and efforts to realize great accomplishments for our City's future. It is important that we continue in this positive direction by electing Betsy Perez. Fortunately on November 4th, the voters stood together and recognized the fruits of our labor to Just Get It Done, as was reflected in the recent election results. But there remains much more work to be done. In order for us to keep moving forward on the key issues and resolve the remaining problems we face, we need to elect Betsy Perez for City Commission Group 4. EFTA01131247 One of the most important local issues for our short term and long term prosperity and survival is our fight against flooding and rising sea levels. On this issue, Betsy's opponent, is signaling that she would slow our flood mitigation plan and would use this as a political football to impede our progress. This is unacceptable. Betsy Perez is a long time Miami Beach resident and genuine leader that will put the people's best interests over that of any other. But don't just take my word for it. Betsy's positive character has earned her the support of her former rivals in this Run-Off.
