Cecile: I hope you are having a positive day. I had a very good conversation with Jeffrey yesterday. He asked me to share
with him the preliminary budget for the medical school. I have attached it to this email. Please share with him the
following points.
1.
The budget is not intended to be the final budget for the medical school but is illustrative of what we
anticipate to be the revenue and expenditures for its operation.
2.
Our conversation focused on the revenue side and the need for us to secure gift agreements totalling $8.5
million before we submit our documents to the accreditors, which would be in the next few months. We will also
need close to another $2,000 to supplement the cost of the Simulation Center.
3.
I ask that these materials be held confidentially since they have not been shared with anyone outside of our
Board members.
4.
If he has any questions I would be glad to discuss the budget with him or any other aspect of the medical school project.
Thanks for your valuable assistance.
