It was magical. An adult playground, where everything is possible, as long as it is consensual. Surprisingly little bad happens. An impressive amount of good stuff happens. Encounters with smart, kind people. Total immersion in art pieces. Lots of reflection and new ideas for work and life. (Also, since you mentioned it: I did not get to see too much blubber; most 'burners" seem to be taking cam of their bodies rather well.) On the way back, I gave a talk at Google and spoke to several of the people on Ray Kurzweil's team. Ray himself was not in the mood or state to be impressive, but the folks working at the Goo& Brain certainly were; we are still conversing.
