CB&S (Equity Structured Products) is in the process of on boarding Southern Financial as a client whose principal is Jeffrey Epstein. Mr. Epstein is currently on boarded as a AWM client of DB in spite of him having served a jail sentence for charges related to pedophilia. During the current on boarding process, new concerns have come to light relating to Mr. Epstein's prior criminal past. These concerns have been escalated by AM'. Compliance. In addition to these new charges, several media outlets have run unflattering stories about Mr. Epstein over the past several days. Please see the links below. Although the charges against Mr. Epstein are not regulatory or credit related, conducting new business with him could have an adverse reputational impact upon DB.
