B Original Message From: Boris Nikolic Sent: Monday, September 24, 2012 10:16 AM To: Todd Golub Subject: RE: Connecting you Importance: High HI Todd, Sorry for bothering you again with this. Was there any progress of FM get=ing samples? I had a chance to meet FM with Bill the other week in California - it is a =reat company indeed. As I am not involved in that patient care (nor I am a relative) there is a =imitation what I can do to speed up sample delivery to FM. I just learnt =hat patient is not doing well. Please let me know if there was any progress and if there are any obstacles= Thank you Boris Original Message From: Todd Golub (mailto Sent: Friday, August 31, 2012 2:48 PM To: Boris Nikolic Subject: Re: Connecting you Boris, I've been connecting regularly with Hank Kaplan. I suggested sending sample=both to Foundation Medicine (for clinical grade testing of a subset of the=genome) and to the Broad Institute (for research grade testing of the enti=e genome). I touched base with Hank yesterday to see how that was going. He replied th=t a pathologist is working on getting sample to Foundation Medicine. EFTA_R1_00060190 EFTA01757728 I'm not sure if there is interest (or ability) to send more to the Broad (w=uld require some sort of local research protocol). But I'm glad that thing= are in motion with Foundation (I've let them know to expect a sample, and=l'll stay involved with analysis). I think the Foundation test will likely=give most of what's clinically actionable. I'll keep you posted on any further progress (though I admit it does seem a=bit slow).
