You could also install a temporary power logger =ver a week or so and then compare that to the utility meter. If =he cable was sized properly it should be less than 2% losses. =br> We have an excellent electrical contractor in St. Croix that has =een working for Hovensa for many years. We are familiar with the challenges of designing =nd building solar in the Caribbean and have developed cost effective =olutions to meet these challenges. Our =nitial thoughts are that a solar PV plant sized to meet the entire =eeds of the island would most likely be the best solution. This =ill require that we know as much about the electricity consumption and =eneration capabilities as possible.
