To: J EpsteinDee " Cc: Richard Kahn From: Scott Denett Sent: Wed 4/27/2011 4:29:21 PM Subject: 71st 6th floor Had a conversation with nick yesterday and we both agree that the issue is most likely not the subs but the mains. The reasoning behind this is 1 when we got there the main speakers were blown 2 the subs are only on level 2 out of 10 ( the calibration software put the level at .09 I had nick raise it to 2 to give you some push but i fully understand you want more) Your new sunfire is incredibly powerful 400 watts a channel ( thats huge! ) those jbl will never take the power of that amp at full volume that is why I had nick cap the max volume so the speaker are less likely to blow I wish we had had a chance to review this in person getting new mains and turning the volume up on the subs is prob the best solution. I know you have issues with the projector at LSJ so getting nick to swap that HAS major value after you taken care of there, I would like to work with you on how to resolve the sixth floor with or without nick nick and i are CURRENTLY working well together just FYI your long term AV needs is my main concern and I am ready for the challenge no matter what vendor you are using at that time. thank you Scott EFTA_R1_00269193 EFTA01866113
