A few things don't quite make sense...
She only took carry on to the Bahamas therefor she could not have thought they had been
taken from any checked luggage.
When we got to Palm Beach and my make up bag was missing she helped me look and was with
me when I phoned the hotel regarding it. She never mentioned anything about the shoes at
this point nor asked me to check with the hotel and she was right next to me while I was
speaking to them.
When you asked her in the dining room why she did not send her things down with you on the
plane to Palm Beach, I can't remember what her response was, but she definitely did send her
things for the rest of the trip and San Fran on the plane with you. I labeled it to go and-
made sure it got to the house in Palm Beach on the other end.
On the other hand...there is the chance that she thought she had taken them with her but they
had actually been in her apartment all along and she had carelessly not noticed. she does seem
fairly blasé and carefree about her things
Another thing I don't know how to think about. I think it was a couple of days before you left
the ranch, she asked me to see if she had left the shoes in the coat closet at 7Ist
