The coins can be exchanged for drinks at parties (only way to get drinks) and favors and other things that I might make available. At the end of each semester I would do an auction to take a bunch of the coin out of circulation and try to have a student monitoring exchange values, money supply and inflation. I was thinking about getting an economics student to do a paper on the legal and tax implications and maybe involve the IRS. MIT is thinking of accepting BitCoin as well.
